In this work, a new surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor based on sulphur-doped titanium dioxide (S-TiO) nanostructures and molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) was presented for thiram (THI) determination in milk samples. Firstly, the S-TiO nanomaterial with a high product yield was prepared by using a facile sol-gel hydrolysis technique with a high product yield. After that, UV polymerization was carried out for the preparation of the THI-imprinted SPR chip based on S-TiO using a mixture including ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) as the cross-linker, N,N'-azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) as the initiator, and methacryloylamidoglutamicacid (MAGA) as the monomer.

Objectives: the aim of this study was to examine the stress distribution of enamel, dentin, and restorative materials in sound first molar teeth with restored cavities with conventional resin composites and bulk-fill composites, as well as to determine their fracture lifetimes by using the three-dimensional finite element stress analysis method.

Materials And Methods: an extracted sound number 26 tooth was scanned with a dental tomography device and recorded. Images were obtained as dicom files, and these files were transferred to the Mimics 12.

The aim of this study was to investigate the types and thicknesses of adhesive materials used in restorative treatment in dentistry in class I occlusal and class II disto-occlusal cavities and to examine the effects of stress distribution on enamel, dentin, restoration material, and adhesive material using the finite element stress analysis method. A 3-dimensional geometry of the tooth was obtained by scanning the extracted 26 numbered upper molar tooth with dental tomography. The 3D geometry obtained by using the Geomagic Design X 2020.

Article Synopsis
  • The study aimed to explore the protective effects of red dragon fruit extract (DFE) on gastric ulcers induced by indomethacin in rats, focusing on changes in oxidative stress markers and histopathological findings.
  • After treating the rats with DFE and inducing ulcers with indomethacin, the researchers noted significant improvements in oxidative stress levels in the groups that received DFE, particularly at higher doses of 500 mg/kg and 1000 mg/kg.
  • The findings suggest that DFE may mitigate gastric damage by lowering harmful markers like MDA and Caspase 3, while enhancing antioxidant levels, indicating a potential natural remedy for those suffering from gastric ulcers caused by NSAID use.
