Aims Of The Study: Physicians frequently prescribe antipsychotics off-label to treat, among others, insomnia and anxiety. The Swiss "smarter medicine - Choosing Wisely" campaign has tried to raise awareness about the risks and to limit benzodiazepine and Z-drug prescriptions. In the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland, our network of public hospitals joined the campaign with the aim of avoiding unnecessary benzodiazepine and Z-drug treatments, with prescription monitoring, benchmarking and educational contributions.

This study queried VigiBase®, the World Health Organization global pharmacovigilance database, to search for signals of disproportionate reporting for pregnancy outcomes with alirocumab and evolocumab. As of November 22, 2023, there were 45 safety reports of exposure to evolocumab (N = 31) and alirocumab (N = 14) in pregnancy.

We conducted a longitudinal study with two time points and a 1-month time lag, involving a final sample of 223 employees. Controlling for the auto-regressive effects of all the outcomes, our results revealed that experiencing work-life balance during e-working was negatively associated with emotional exhaustion and social isolation, while it was positively related to career progression.
