Climate change impacts the demand of the construction industry to reduce its carbon footprint while increasing the resilience of the buildings. This twofold need emphasises better understanding and cost prediction of green resilient buildings based on their 'resilience' and 'sustainability', which is very limited or based on obsolete perceptions and stereotypes. This study presents a novel index to predict the cost of converting a conventional building to a green-resilient building.

Background The role of specific human leukocyte antigen (HLA) alleles as a risk factor for susceptibility, protection, and response to cyclophosphamide (CYC) treatment has been studied in patients with idiopathic nephrotic syndrome (INS). This study investigates the association of class II HLA alleles and the treatment outcome in children with steroid-dependent nephrotic syndrome (SDNS) who were treated with CYC. Methods A total of 77 children who were diagnosed with SDNS and had received CYC at least a year before were enrolled.

"Hot quadrate lobe sign" refers to visualization of caudate lobe of liver due to excess accumulation of radiotracer secondary to superior vena cava obstruction. Collateral channels are formed between thoracic and mediastinal vessels; internal mammary through the paraumbilical vessels which drain blood to the left portal vein and into the caudate lobe of liver. It was first described on Tc99-m sulfur colloid scan.

Background: This study investigates the interplay between perceived social stigmatization, social appearance anxiety, and quality of life in individuals with facial skin diseases. Furthermore, it undertakes the psychological and social impact of visible skin diseases, such as acne, atopic dermatitis, rosacea, enlarged pores, and vitiligo, on individuals' quality of life. These conditions not only cause physical discomfort but also lead to feelings of sadness, anxiety, and low self-esteem.
