Background: Head computed tomography (CT) is a routinely performed examination to assess the intracranial condition of patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI), and radiological findings can help to indicate the presence of intracranial hypertension. At present, the prediction of intracranial hypertension is mainly based on manual discrimination of imaging characteristics. The aim of our study was to establish a model to predict intracranial hypertension via fully automatic CT image segmentation, rigorous radiomic feature extraction and reliable model development and validation.

In 2020, the Dutch government issued a call to investigate age limits for donor-conceived people to access donor information because there was insufficient justification for such limits in the Dutch law. This question is equally important in a changing landscape of donor conception due to searching using direct-to-consumer genetic tests and social media. This paper describes recommendations for policy and practice based on an interdisciplinary (ethical, legal, psychosocial and empirical) research.

Importance: Patients with angina and no obstructive coronary artery disease frequently have coronary vasomotor dysfunction as underlying pathophysiological mechanism, comprising epicardial spasm, microvascular spasm, and/or microcirculatory dysfunction. These endotypes can be diagnosed by invasive coronary function testing which has previously shown to be safe in tertiary and expert centers.

Objective: To determine the prevalence of vasomotor dysfunction in patients with angina and no obstructive coronary artery disease who were clinically referred for a coronary function test (CFT); and assess safety and feasibility of a CFT.

Erythropoiesis is a process that requires tight control of gene transcription, mRNA stability, and protein synthesis and degradation. These regulatory layers adapt dynamically to developmental needs and physiological stresses, ensuring precise control of erythroid production. Ribosomopathies, such as Diamond-Blackfan anemia (DBA), are characterized by defects in ribosome function.
