Purpose: To evaluate the effect of transvaginal ovarian drilling (TVOD) on IVF outcomes in subjects with clomiphene-resistant PCOS and a history of IVF failure.

Methods: Between 2008 and 2011, 19 subjects with sonographically PCOS and a history of failure to ovulate to high-dose clomiphene citrate were prospectively followed and underwent TVOD at a university hospital-based IVF program.

In recent years, questionnaires were published in English to assess the quality of life of patients with PCD (Primary Ciliary Diskinesia) for adults, adolescents aged 13-17 years, and children aged 6-12 years and their caregivers. This study aimed to prepare Polish versions of the questionnaires and validate them in specific age groups with the participation of Polish patients with PCD. Objective: Inflammation and endothelial dysfunction are important venous changes in patients with chronic venous disease (CVD). The use of the venoactive drugs remains an important treatment modality for patients with CVD, reducing the severity of the CVD-related symptoms and swelling but also reducing inflammation and protecting endothelial cells. In this research, the effects of the serum obtained from patients with CVD before and after sulodexide treatment were evaluated for in vivo and in vitro inflammatory markers and endothelial cell function.
