Deltamethrin is a pesticide used worldwide with several applications in the control of nuisance arthropods in homes, agriculture, against ectoparasites in dogs and livestock. Recent studies indicate that deltamethrin can induce cardiotoxicity. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the toxicity of deltamethrin in dogs through exposure to commercial collars over 8 months.

Background: (Arruda) Schott is popularly known as "aninga," "aningaçu," "aningaíba," and "aninga-do-igapó." Compresses and plasters made from the leaves of this medicinal plant are used to treat abscesses, tumors, and pain caused by stingray stings.

Aim Of The Study: This study aimed to chemically characterize the methanolic extract of leaves (MEMLL), as well as to verify their acute oral toxicity and antinociceptive potential.

Assessing Antiparasitic Compounds Persistence in Cattle Hair by DART-MS.

This study introduces an alternative strategy for evaluating antiparasitic persistence compounds in cattle hair by Direct Analysis in Real Time Mass Spectrometry (DART-MS). The developed DART-MS method aimed to determine fenthion, chlorpyrifos, and cypermethrin in cattle hair samples. DART-MS analyses were performed in positive ion mode, and parameters related to the DART source were evaluated.

Factors Associated with Weaning in Infants with Cow's Milk Allergy: A Cohort Study.

To analyze the factors associated with weaning in infants with cow's milk allergy (CMA) treated at a food allergy reference center in a state in the northeast of Brazil. A prospective cohort study, with a case group (children with CMA) and two control groups (symptomatic nonallergic children [SC] and asymptomatic [AC]). At the beginning of the study, 30 children comprised the CMA group, 84 the SC group, and 52 the AC group.

Objective: To evaluate the mode of delivery according to Robson classification (RC) and the perinatal outcomes in fetal growth restriction (FGR) and small for gestational age (SGA) fetuses.

Methods: Retrospective cohort study by analyzing medical records of singleton pregnancies from two consecutive years (2018 and 2019). FGR was defined according to Delphi Consensus.
