The solid waste generated from processing rosehip fruits into jam is valuable due to its rich content in fibres, polyphenols, and carotenoids; it could be valorised as a functional ingredient in a powder form to enrich food products. This study aimed to test its potential as a value-added ingredient, especially to enrich waffle cones with fibres, polyphenols, and carotenoids. In this regard, four formulations of waffle cones were prepared by partially substituting wheat flour with rosehip waste powder at 0%, 10%, 15%, and 20%, reaching concentrations of 0%, 3.

We aimed to develop PROMs to understand the perspectives of people with HIV (PWH) on (1) facilitators/barriers to daily OART regimen adherence and (2) a hypothetical switch to a long-acting (LA)-OART regimen.
Methods: Following the US food and drug administration patient-reported outcome guidance, targeted literature reviews and concept elicitation interviews with clinicians (n = 7) and PWH (n = 28) were conducted to develop conceptual models (CMs) of facilitators/barriers to OART regimen adherence.
Cortical function is under constant modulation by internally-driven, latent variables that regulate excitability, collectively known as 'cortical state'. Despite a vast literature in this area, the estimation of cortical state remains relatively ad hoc, and not amenable to real-time implementation. Here, we implement robust, data-driven, and fast algorithms that address several technical challenges for online cortical state estimation.

Many have remained optimistic that TasP, combined with pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), will help close the "viral divide" between those living with and without HIV. This qualitative interview study of 62 sexual and gender minority (SGM) individuals of mixed serostatuses explored community perspectives regarding TasP, including the meaning of undetectability and how U=U impacts understandings of serodifference.
