The photochemical pathways of acetanilide and paracetamol were investigated using the XMS-CASPT2 quantum chemical method and the cc-pVDZ (correlation consistent polarized valence double- ) basis set. In both compounds, the bright state is the second excited state, designated as a L) state. Through a detailed exploration of the potential energy profile and the conical intersection structure between the L) and ground states, we gained a better understanding of how cleavage might occur in both molecules upon photoexcitation.

Background: Ustekinumab (UST) is an anti-interleukin-12/23 antibody used in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. This study includes patients treated at four hospitals in Stockholm to provide long-term real-world data.
Methods: Retrospective study including patients diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and treated with UST between the years 2019 and 2021.
Background: Pretransplant infection screening (IS) of potential organ recipients is essential to optimal outcome of solid organ transplantation (SOT).
Methods: A pre-post study was performed during 2020-2023 to investigate the impact of the STREAM (Solid organ TRansplant stEwArdship and Multidisciplinary approach) intervention to improve IS in SOT. The intervention, performed in 2022, included the implementation of IS through educational meetings, local guidelines, and the availability of a digital screening tool.
Collisions lesions are rare neoplasms where two histologically distinct tumors coexist in the same organ or anatomical site. Vertebral hemangiomas (VHs) are the most common lesions involving the vertebral bodies and imaging findings of typical and atypical hemangiomas, variant forms of hemangioma such as aggressive hemangiomas are well known, but collision lesions involving VHs are extremely rare. This article presents a case report of a 73-year-old male patient diagnosed with clear cell renal cancer in a rare presentation of a bone metastasis coinciding with the same anatomical position as a VH (collision lesion).

Objectives: To provide real-world data in unselected patients with Crohn's disease (CD), treated with ustekinumab.
Design: Longitudinal retrospective study at four hospitals in Stockholm, Sweden.
