The effect of information about hazardous chemicals in consumer products on behaviour - A systematic review.

Exposure to hazardous chemicals in consumer products poses significant risks to personal health and the environment, and the combined effects may be negative even if each individual exposure is low. This necessitates informed and effective policies for risk reduction. This systematic review aims to identify and analyse existing evidence on how consumer preferences, product use, and product disposal are affected by information on harmful chemicals in consumer products and by price interventions.

Reconstituted and frozen botulinum toxin A is as effective and safe as fresh for treating axillary hyperhidrosis: A retrospective study.

The use of reconstituted and frozen left-over botulinum toxin A, for treatment of patients with axillary hyperhidrosis seems to be common practice in healthcare. Thus, the objective of this study was to investigate the efficacy and safety of frozen and thawed versus fresh reconstituted abobotulinum toxin (Dysport®) and onabotulinum toxin (Botox®) in the treatment of axillary hyperhidrosis. A retrospective study was conducted analysing efficacy and data from pre- and 24 weeks post-treatment questionnaires together with medical records of individuals with moderate to severe axillary hyperhidrosis.

Encircling discourses-A guide to critical discourse analysis in caring science.

Aim: The aim of this article was to introduce Fairclough's critical discourse analysis (CDA) in caring and nursing science, to provide a guide on how to perform such an analysis, and to describe the wider context of discourse epistemology.

Design: The article is designed as a methodological paper, including (a) epistemological roots of discourse analysis, (b) an overview of discourse analytical research within caring and nursing science which points out an increased trend, and (c) a guide to conducting a CDA.

Analysis: It is important that discourse analysis is available and accessible to nursing and caring researchers.

Hormonal and Reproductive Factors in Relation to Cardiovascular Events in Women with Early Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Hormonal and reproductive factors affect the risk for cardiovascular events (CVE) in the general population. Although the risk of CVE is increased in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), the knowledge about the impact of hormonal factors for CVE in RA is sparse. Female postmenopausal patients ≤80 years with early RA were consecutively included in this observational study ( = 803) between 1 January 1996 until 31 December 2017.
