Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between personal traits, dental anxiety level and dental appearance of the individuals.

Study Design: The study included 431 individuals who completed State Trait Anxiety Inventory-Trait Form (STAI-T) and Corah's Dental Anxiety Scale (CDAS) questionnaires during their first appointment at the orthodontic clinic. The Index of Complexity, Outcome and Need (ICON) index scoring was performed using intraoral frontal photographs by an orthodontist.

The Investigation of Transdiagnostic Role of Obsessive Beliefs: Comparison of Clinical Groups Diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Anxiety Disorders and Depression with University Students.

Objective: The present study aimed to investigate whether the dysfunctional obsessive beliefs are specific to obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) using three different clinical groups including OCD, depression, and anxiety and a control group of university students.

Method: The participants of the study comprised three patient groups with OCD (n=53), major depressive disorder (MDD, n=67), anxiety disorders (AD, n=73), and a group of university students (n=477). The short version of the Obsessive Belief Questionnaire (OBQ-20) was used to measure obsessive beliefs.

Does cognitive flexibility change the nature of the relationship between intolerance of uncertainty and psychological symptoms during the COVID-19 outbreak in Turkey?

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected the mental health of the general population worldwide. The study aimed to determine the associations of the intolerance of uncertainty (IU) and cognitive flexibility (CF) with a variety of psychological symptoms and to examine the impact of IU on psychological symptoms through the moderating role of CF. The Brief Symptom Inventory, Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale-12, and Cognitive Control and Flexibility Questionnaire were applied to a sample of 3004 adults living in Turkey.
