Objective: We aimed to assess risk of COVID-19 infection & seroprotection status in healthcare workers (HCWs) in both hospital and community settings following an intensive vaccination drive in India.
Setting: Tertiary Care Hospital.
Methods: We surveyed COVID-19 exposure risk, personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance, vaccination status, mental health & COVID-19 infection rate across different HCW cadres.
Introduction: Platelet transfusion has been therapeutically used in patients with thrombocytopenia and platelet function defects over the years. The use of advanced techniques may add value in assessing the quality of platelet products. The aim of the study was to assess stored platelet concentrates (PCs) prepared in blood banks for platelet indices, clot strength, and platelet function.

In our case, a patient with hypotension with relatively stable other clinical parameters has been evaluated to reveal pituitary macroadenoma as an underlying diagnosis.

The development of methods to enrich cell-specific EVs from biofluids has enabled us to monitor difficult-to-access organs, such as the brain, in real time without disrupting their function, thus serving as liquid biopsy. Burgeoning evidence indicates that the contents of neuron-derived EVs (NDEs) in blood reveal dynamic alterations that occur during neurodegenerative pathogenesis, including Alzheimer's disease (AD), reflecting a disease-specific molecular signature.

The non-Hermiticity gives rise to interesting pumping physics, owing to the presence of skin effect and exceptional points. In the static one-dimensional (1D) RM model, we find two independent tuning knobs that can drive the topological transition, namely, non-Hermitian parameter $\gamma$ and system size $N$.
