Clinical and Radiological Evaluation of Children Aged 2 Months to 5 Years with Severe Pneumonia According to WHO Guideline.

Pneumonia is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in children less than 5 years of age in developing countries like Bangladesh. Although WHO guideline classified severe pneumonia by symptoms and signs of the patients, radiological and laboratory investigations were not studied well. There was increasing number of cases of bronchiolitis which meet the criteria of WHO classified severe pneumonia are reported.
