Objectives: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a complex condition affecting approximately 1 in 10 women of reproductive age. However, limited data are available regarding the specific characteristics and needs of women with PCOS in Latin America. This consensus sought to evaluate the evidence-based practices for the management of PCOS for Latin American populations, consolidate regional insights, identify eventual gaps in implementation and identify key research opportunities.

Objective: This study aimed to explore the association of multiple possible factors with asthma symptoms in two subpopulations, children, adolescents, and adults, in six cities in Colombia.
Introduction: Dementia, an increasingly critical public health concern in low and middle-income countries, is associated with lower socioeconomic status, early cognitive impairment, and elevated dementia-related mortality risk. This study seeks to estimate the prevalence of cognitive impairment, investigate its links with social indicators, and visualize social gradients across different regions in Colombia.
Methods: Secondary data analysis from the SABE 2015 survey, multinomial regression analyses, and equiplot graphs.
Peripheral neuropathy is a common cause of morbidity in diabetes. Despite recent advancements in early diagnosis methods, there is a need for practical, highly sensitive, and cost-effective screening methods in clinical practice. This study summarizes evidence from systematic reviews and meta-analyses on the diagnostic accuracy of validated screening methods for diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
