Background: Non-bacterial thrombotic endocarditis (NBTE) is a rare condition characterized by sterile thrombi on undamaged valves. We herein report a case of NBTE involving the Chiari's network and the mitral valve, related to a metastatic cancer, and occurring under non-vitamin K antagonist oral anticoagulant (NOAC).
Case Summary: A 74-year-old patient with metastatic pulmonary cancer was diagnosed with a right atrium mass during pre-treatment cardiovascular check-up.

Objectives: To assess long-term safety and efficacy of the Xposition S self-apposing stent in the treatment of unprotected left main coronary artery (ULMCA) disease.
Background: Percutaneous intervention with stents has emerged as a valid alternative to surgical revascularization to treat ULMCA disease. Conventional balloon-expandable stents face technical challenges, particularly in large left main diameter requiring extensive optimization and side branch access in distal bifurcation.
During the manufacturing of protein biologics, product variability during cell culture production and harvest needs to be actively controlled and monitored to maintain acceptable product quality. To a large degree, variants that have previously been described are covalent in nature and are easily analyzed by a variety of techniques. Here, we describe a noncovalent post translational modification of recombinantly expressed antibodies, containing variable domain tryptophans, that are exposed to culture media components and ambient laboratory light.

Methods: Compatibility was assessed by measuring the per cent recovery at varying time points throughout a 90-day period. Quantification of the APIs was performed by a validated high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC-UV) method.
