[Behcet's disease: retrospective study].

Background: Since the criteria for the diagnosis of Behçet's disease was established several isolated cases have been reported to the literature with clinical manifestations associated. We tried to analyze the clinical parameters associated to this disease in 24 patients in our hospital.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was made of the patients diagnosed of Behçet's disease at Hospital General of Valencia since 1990 to 2000.

[Melanoma of the nasal cavity].

Presenting a case of nasal Melanoma, in a patient previously diagnosed and treated from Rhabdomyosarcoma of the same nasal cavity. In our Department has been treated with surgery plus thymostimulin (TP-1 Serono) after surgery. Subject reviewed and clinic features, diagnostic difficulties and nowadays immunotherapy commented.

[Hormones and the nasal mucosa. A bibliographic review].

The development and activity of the nasal mucosa are influenced by many hormonal substances. In this work we realize a bibliographical review about the effect of adrenaline, thyroid hormones, corticosteroids and sex hormones on the nasal respiratory mucous membrane. We emphasize the clinic consequences.
