Article Synopsis
  • Women with breast cancer, particularly those on specific treatments, are at risk for deteriorating health-related quality of life (QoL) and cardiac performance.
  • The study aimed to explore how self-reported moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) during treatment relates to QoL and heart function both during and after treatment.
  • Findings indicated that higher levels of MVPA were linked to better QoL scores and cardiac function metrics, suggesting that staying active could help mitigate some negative health impacts during breast cancer therapy.
