Introduction: Implantology has become a primary solution for tooth loss due to excellent osseointegration and high long-term success rates. However, complications such as abutment screw loosening, especially in implant-supported single crowns, compromise prosthesis longevity. Anaerobic adhesives (AAs) have shown promise in mechanical fields for preventing screw loosening, but their effectiveness in dental implants, particularly zirconia, remains uncertain.

Article Synopsis
  • The study focuses on developing a green and effective pesticide formulation using nanoemulsions, including adjuvants like Calcium Alkyl Benzene Sulphonate (Atlox 4838B) and trisiloxane ethoxylate (ARGAL), aimed at targeting the pest Sitophilus oryzae.
  • Results indicate that all formulations achieved nanoscale droplets, with scanning electron microscopy revealing their spherical shapes, while dynamic light scattering showed variations in size based on the presence of adjuvants.
  • The nanoemulsions demonstrated good stability under various conditions, with most formulations having acidic to neutral pH levels, and adjuvants enhanced their stability by altering droplet characteristics and increasing kinetic stability.

Physical activity guidelines targeting different populations with and without chronic diseases or disabilities are required to meet the diverse functional and physiological needs experienced by different subgroups of people to achieve optimal health benefits. As the importance of physical activity guidelines in promoting optimal health and well-being becomes increasingly recognised, there is a critical need for their systematic evaluation to ensure they remain effective, applicable and aligned with evolving health needs and scientific insights. This study aims to systematically review, critically evaluate, and compare global physical activity and sedentary behaviour guidelines on frequency, intensity, time, and type of exercise for adults, pregnant and postpartum women, and people living with chronic conditions and/or disabilities.

Curcumin, found in turmeric rhizomes (Curcuma longa L.), has been widely studied for its potential health benefits, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and wound-healing properties. However, due to its low bioavailability and unfavorable pharmacokinetics, analogous compounds have been developed to obtain better biopharmaceutical characteristics and enhanced biological effects.
