The protein regulator of cytokinesis 1 (PRC1) is a key regulator of microtubule crosslinking and bundling, which is crucial for spindle formation and cytokinesis. RITA, the BP-J nteracting and ubulin-ssociated protein, is a microtubule associated protein. We have reported that RITA localizes to mitotic spindles modulating microtubule dynamics and stability as well as to spindle poles affecting the activity of Aurora A.

Moreover, their role in central tolerance is obscured by redundancy among the Nr4a family members and by their reported functions in Treg generation and maintenance. Here we take advantage of competitive bone marrow chimeras and the OT-II/RIPmOVA model to show that Nr4a1 and Nr4a3 are essential for the upregulation of Bcl2l11/BIM and thymic clonal deletion by self-antigen.

Non-invasive methods of stimulating the peripheral and central nervous system are increasingly being used to enhance the effects of existing therapies in stroke rehabilitation. One potentially relevant method for achieving greater improvement is repetitive peripheral magnetic stimulation (rPMS).

Thyroid lobectomy has gained increasing popularity over the past decade as a treatment for differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC), largely due to a rise in the diagnosis of low-risk cancers and evidence showing no benefit from radioiodine in low-risk disease. Multiple studies have confirmed lobectomy as an effective and safe option. Its advantages over total thyroidectomy include lower complication rates and a reduced need for lifelong levothyroxine (LT4) therapy.

Background: The current ERAS guideline recommendations encompass 27 items to improve recovery after pancreatoduodenectomy (PD).
Methods: Patients who underwent pancreatic resection at the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf between February 2016 and June 2023 were included.
