Background: Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infection is a significant public health concern in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, being widely prevalent and the main risk factor for cervical cancer. We aimed to assess knowledge and perception towards HPV, acceptability of the HPV vaccine, and HPV vaccination rates among university students in Education City, Doha, Qatar.

Methods: This cross-sectional survey utilized proportional quota-sampling, with quotas based on university, sex, and nationality, to recruit students from seven universities between February and September 2022.

The health benefits of breastfeeding are well-documented, but rates of breastfeeding duration in the US fall below national targets - especially when mothers have less education, have lower incomes, are non-Hispanic Black, or live in nonmetropolitan areas. The Creating Breastfeeding Friendly Communities program was designed to promote breastfeeding and reduce disparities by implementing policy and practice changes in worksites from 2017 through 2023. The purpose of this evaluation was to determine whether the program was effective in increasing breastfeeding supports and addressing disparities.

The aim of our study was to evaluate a statewide obesity prevention program, designed to improve two social determinants of health (access to healthy foods and opportunities for physical activity) by changing worksite policies, systems, and environments. We used data on social determinants of health to identify priority communities and funded 25 contractors to recruit and engage worksites in those communities. We employed a pre/post quasi-experimental design and used the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Worksite Health ScoreCard to assess implementation of nutrition and physical activity strategies.
