Gender identity and activity limitations: A national study on transgender and non-binary Canadians.

Introduction: Activity limitations among transgender and non-binary individuals remain largely unexplored using population-based samples. This study examines the risk of activity limitations across different gender identities in Canada.

Method: Using data from the 2021 Canadian long-form Census, logistic regressions estimated the adjusted odds of reporting activity limitations (seeing, hearing, mobility/dexterity, mental, cognitive, and other) across gender identities.

Importance: Studies on the familial effects of body mass index (BMI) status have yielded a wide range of data on its heritability.

Objective: To assess the heritability of obesity by measuring the association between the BMIs of fathers, mothers, and their offspring at the same age.

Introduction: The objective of this study was to utilize the data generated by the City of Toronto, Street Needs Assessment conducted in 2021 to explore the prevalence, causes, experiences, and characteristics of 2-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (2SLGBTQ+) individuals experiencing homelessness in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Methods: Data was collected by the City of Toronto during its Street Needs Assessment in April 2021. The Street Needs Assessment is a needs assessment survey and Point-in-Time count of people experiencing homelessness across the city of Toronto.

Daily and Momentary Associations Between Gender Minority Stress and Resilience With Alcohol Outcomes.

Background And Purpose: Minority stressors have been linked with alcohol use among transgender and gender diverse (TGD); however, no ecological momentary assessment studies have examined daily links between minority stress and alcohol use specifically among TGD. This study examined gender minority stressors and resilience as predictors of same-day or momentary alcohol-related outcomes. Feasibility and acceptability of procedures were evaluated.
