The current study examined the relationship between creative potential, estimated with tests of divergent thinking (DT), and emotional intelligence (EI). Previous research has hinted at a relationship, but the EI-DT relationship may differ as a function of the tasks and the specific components of EI. With this in mind, the present investigation compared two DT tests (Social Games vs.

In total, 26 patients (13 SFA and 13 OFA) were included in this study. Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scans taken at T0 (1 week before surgery), T1 (1 week after surgery), and T2 (6 months after surgery) were used for the assessment of maxillary stability.

We report the case of an 11-month-old child with a 22-day history of productive cough and fever, unresponsive to initial antibiotics. Clinical examination showed a stable, eupneic child with mild fever and reduced oxygen saturation.

These enzymes convert cytidine to uridine in single-stranded (ss)DNA, inducing genomic mutations that promote drug resistance and tumor heterogeneity. Of the seven human APOBEC3 members, APOBEC3A (A3A) and APOBEC3B (A3B) are most implicated in driving pro-tumorigenic mutations.

While manual landmarking has traditionally been the gold standard, it is labour-intensive and prone to variability.
Objective: This study presents a framework for automated landmark detection in 3D facial images within a clinical context, using convolutional neural networks (CNNs), and it assesses its accuracy in comparison to that of ground-truth data.
