The migration of mobile ions through the metal halide perovskite layer is still one of the main reasons for the poor stability of perovskite solar cells, LEDs, and photodetectors. To characterize mobile ions in the perovskite layer, time- and frequency-based electrical measurements are promising techniques. However, the presence of transport layers complicates their interpretation, limiting the information about mobile ions that can be extracted, and it is not clear how different features in frequency- and time-domain measurements relate to mobile ions.

Rare genetic systemic diseases associated with cystic kidney disease such as COL4A1-related disorder and oral facial digital syndrome type 1 could contribute to end-stage kidney disease in the pediatric population but there is scarce evidence in the literature regarding kidney transplant outcomes in these cases.
Case Presentation: We report a case of a 5-year-old male with COL4A1-related disorder who received a living-related donor kidney transplant from his mother.

This case report describes a 45-min active learning lesson plan that engages 4th-5th and 6th-8th grade school students in spatial reasoning through a review of medical imaging. The lesson plan reviews different planar orientations and cross-sections of computed tomography (CT) images of familiar objects. The lesson is designed to introduce students to the idea that scientists are key contributors to healthcare, including in medical imaging technologies that facilitate the visualization of internal structures of patients without invasive procedures.

Recently, there has been a heightened interest in understanding germline predisposition to hematological malignancies including MPN, including several reports of familial MPN. Here, we retrospectively analyzed medical records and data from genetic testing to describe twelve patients with germline variants at amino acid position 564 of JAK2.

Methods: A systematic review of PubMed, Web of Science, and Cochrane was completed. A qualitative synthesis of all included studies was then performed.
