Portal vein thrombosis (PVT) typically arises in patients with underlying cirrhosis, hepatobiliary malignancies, abdominal inflammatory conditions, or hematologic disorders. However, in non-cirrhotic individuals, PVT is less common and may initially present with minimal symptoms, escalating significantly if it extends to the mesenteric veins. Here, we present the case of a 37-year-old male with combined portal and mesenteric venous thrombosis, manifesting as acute intestinal obstruction.

These injections decreased the frequency and severity of the patient's debilitating headaches from daily to once or twice per month with positive improvement in function and quality of life. To our knowledge, this is the first reported case in the literature of a patient with persistent post-subarachnoid hemorrhage headache that was successfully treated with an antibody against the CGRP receptor.

Altered fractionation (ALFT) strategies such as hypofractionation radiotherapy (HYPO-RT), accelerated fractionation radiotherapy (AFRT), and hyperfractionation radiotherapy (HFRT) have not been practiced uniformly across centers in different parts of the world.

However, the attainment of high-performance photodetection has been impeded by challenges pertaining to electrical contact. To surmount this obstacle, we introduce a phototransistor architecture, in which the WS channel is connected with an alternating WS-WSe strip superstructure, strategically positioned alongside the source and drain contact regions.
