The asteroid (142) Polana is classified as a B-type asteroid located in the inner Main Belt. This asteroid is the parent of the New Polana family, which has been proposed to be the likely source of primitive near-Earth asteroids such as the B-type asteroid (101955) Bennu. To investigate the compositional correlation between Polana and Bennu at the 3 µm band and their aqueous alteration histories, we analyzed the spectra of Polana in the ~ 2.

A harmonically trapped active Brownian particle exhibits two types of positional distributions-one has a single peak and the other has a single well-that signify steady-state dynamics with low and high activity, respectively. Adding inertia to the translational motion preserves this strict classification of either single-peak or single-well densities but shifts the dividing boundary between the states in the parameter space. We characterize this shift for the dynamics in one spatial dimension using the static Fokker-Planck equation for the full joint distribution of the state space.

Introduction: Timely diagnosis and proper recognition of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is essential to establish early management in inpatients and outpatients. There are different classification scales to identify SLE, which include various clinical and serological aspects. In 2021, the SLE Risk Probability Index (SLERPI) was published, which focuses predominantly on the clinical characteristics of patients with suspected SLE and uses a simple algorithm for early recognition of the disease.
