This study aimed to evaluate the potential effects of Bisphenol F and S exposure on the skeletal structures of Sprague-Dawley rats. Given the increasing concern about the potential endocrine-disrupting effects of Bisphenol analogs on bone health, this research sought to elucidate their impact in conjunction with Melatonin. Using 80 male Sprague Dawley rats, bones were subjected to a 3-point bending test to assess mechanical properties, and histopathological evaluation was conducted after fixation and decalcification.

Development of an In Situ Hybridization Method for Detection of Akabane Virus.

Akabane virus (AKAV) is an arbovirus belonging to the family Bunyaviridae, genus Orthobunyavirus. AKAV consists of three-segment (L, M, and S RNA segments), negative single-stranded RNA. The aim of this study was to investigate an in situ hybridization method (ISH) in a Vero E6 cell line infected with Akabane virus.

Background: Wound healing involves the repair of skin and other soft tissues after an injury. Royal jelly, a product of bees, possesses antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antiviral properties. Melatonin, a circadian indoleamine, is produced in the pineal gland and other organs.

Isolation and culture of chickenembryonic synovial fibroblasts.

Cells obtained from chicken embryos are often preferred for in vitro studies. These cells, which easily adapt to rapid and continuous growth in the appropriate cell culture environment, are thought to be one of the effective methods in the investigation of leg diseases that are frequently observed in poultry. Leg diseases, especially affecting the joints in chickens, cause locomotor problems and adversely affect animal welfare.

Comparison of bacteriological culture method and multiplex real-time PCR for detection of mastitis.

This study includes the evaluation of multiplex real-time PCR (rPCR) kit, which was developed to provide rapid diagnosis of mastitis infections, by working with milk samples of 2 different sources of mastitis and comparing the results with the classical bacteriological culture method (BC). A total of 273 bacteria were isolated in 226 samples (47.88%) out of 472 samples by BC.
