Bromoxynil (BML) is a toxic herbicide that is reported to cause various organ toxicities. However, there is not a single investigation conducted to elucidate the adverse impacts of BML on hepatic tissues at different dose concentrations. Therefore, the current investigation was planned to assess the deleterious effects of BML on liver against different dose concentrations.

To estimate its potential impact, we investigated a historic cohort of heart transplant (HT) recipients who would have been eligible for a kidney-after-heart transplant under this policy.
Methods: Adult heart-only recipients from 1/1/2000 to 3/31/2023 in the United Network for Organ Sharing database were categorized by retroactively applying eligibility criteria from the new policy: eGFR≤20mL/min, CrCl≤20mL/min, or dialysis 60-365 days post-HT.
Background: Renal stones are a prevalent condition requiring effective treatment strategies. This study evaluates the comparative effectiveness of shockwave lithotripsy (SWL) and ureteroscopic lithotripsy (URSL) in treating renal stones in a Pakistani cohort, focusing on stone clearance, recurrence, and complications.
Methods: This prospective cohort study involved 250 patients aged 18-55 diagnosed with renal stones.
Congenital heart disease and common acquired heart diseases like Kawasaki disease and rheumatic heart disease are prevalent cardiovascular conditions in children worldwide. Despite the availability of treatment options, they continue to be significant contributors to morbidity and mortality. Advancements in early diagnosis, improvements in treatment approaches, and overcoming resistance to available treatments are crucial to reduce morbidity.

Aim: The current study was planned to assess the cardioprotective potential of TEC against VAN induced cardiotoxicity in rats via regulating biochemical, and histological profile.
