Rhizobacteria and silicon fertilization synergism suppress leaf and panicle Blast, and mitigates biotic stress in rice plants. Association of bioagents and silicon is synergistic for mitigating leaf and panicle blast and low phosphorus (P) levels in upland rice, under greenhouse conditions. This study aimed to evaluate the potential of the bioagents and silicon interaction on blast disease severity suppression in upland rice plants, under field low P conditions.

Methods: This is a 5-year retrospective study of neurosurgical conditions and their management outcomes by a visiting consultant neurosurgeon in a Nigerian Tertiary institution from January 2016 to December 2020.
Results: Thousand two hundred and four (1,204) patients were reviewed.
This study reported physicochemical properties of purified endo-1,4-β-mannanase from the wild type, sp. and its most promising chemical mutant. The crude enzymes from fermentation of wild and mutant bacteria were purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation, ion exchange and gel-filtration chromatography followed by an investigation of the physicochemical properties of purified wild and mutant enzymes.
