Study Objective: Suction curettage is preferred over sharp curettage in obstetric settings. We compare the quality of operative tissue sampling between sharp curettage and suction curettage using electric vacuum aspiration for nonobstetric abnormal uterine bleeding in reproductive-aged women.
Design: A retrospective cohort study.
Across the globe, men make markedly more money than women, even within the same position. We introduce egalitarian norm messaging as a potential intervention to increase women's salaries and counter the gender pay gap. In two preregistered experiments with seasoned professionals ( = 435, work experience: > 8 years, salary negotiations: > 18 per year), we find a significant gender pay bias-Human Resources (HR) experts offered markedly lower salaries in an online negotiation to (simulated) female versus male candidates with identical qualifications.

A portion of this loss may be attributed to premature spoilage of products due to lapses in sanitation and postpasteurization contamination at the processing level. Bacterial groups including coliforms, Enterobacteriaceae (EB), and total gram-negative organisms represent indicators of poor sanitation or postpasteurization contamination in dairy products worldwide.
