The removal of organic pollutants from water is significantly important as they have harmful effects on the ecosystem. Heterogeneous photocatalysis is a potential technique for the removal of organic pollutants from the wastewater. In this article, zinc oxide (ZnO) and samarium oxide (SmO) nanoparticles and ZnO-SmO nanocomposite (ZS) were synthesized by the co-precipitation method.

Multiple myeloma (MM) is linked to chronic NF-κB activity in myeloma cells, but this activity is generally considered a cell-autonomous property of the cancer cells. The precise extent of NF-κB activation and the contributions of the physical microenvironment and of cell-to-cell communications remain largely unknown. By quantitative immunofluorescence, we found that NF-κB is mildly and heterogeneously activated in a fraction of MM cells in human BMs, while only a minority of MM cells shows a strong activation.

The noise, white in time and coloured in space, can be interpreted as the physical law describing the driving mechanism on the atmosphere-ocean interface, i.e.

Delayed blow-up and enhanced diffusion by transport noise for systems of reaction-diffusion equations.

This paper is concerned with the problem of regularization by noise of systems of reaction-diffusion equations with mass control. It is known that solutions to such systems of PDEs may blow-up in finite time. Moreover, for many systems of practical interest, establishing whether the blow-up occurs or not is an open question.
