Background: Veterinary autogenous vaccines, similar to all injectable pharmaceutical products, must be tested to assess endotoxin concentrations. The Limulus Amebocyte Lysate Test (LAL test) is widely used in in vitro quality control assays for endotoxin detection, although it presents some ethical issues related to the production of reagents and is also characterized by a low specificity due to other contaminants that can activate the reaction. For all these reasons, a new recombinant factor C LAL test was developed.

Introduction: High-dose MTX is used to treat pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). The drug has a low therapeutic index and a highly interindividual variability in systemic exposure. These characteristics necessitate dose adjustments and therapeutic drug monitoring protocols, while population pharmacokinetic (POP/PK) models may enable more precise drug dosing.

Undesired coupling to the surrounding environment destroys long-range correlations in quantum processors and hinders coherent evolution in the nominally available computational space. This noise is an outstanding challenge when leveraging the computation power of near-term quantum processors. It has been shown that benchmarking random circuit sampling with cross-entropy benchmarking can provide an estimate of the effective size of the Hilbert space coherently available.

Introduction: The aim of this study was to compare the results of single versus double row (TEO) in massive tears of the posterosuperior rotator cuff in patients older than 70 years old.

Methods: Between October 2019 and July 2022, 46 patients, older than 70 years old, were operated on, in two centers, by one surgeon (FM), in one center, we performed a single-row repair, while in the other a double row, transosseous equivalent. Patients were paired by age and gender.
