Single-bubble sonoluminescence spectra of the following samples were recorded in the modes of standing and moving bubble in liquid near the center of its levitation under the action of ultrasound: water contaminated with additives of commercial gasoline (1.5 - 38 mg·L), water with additives of individual gasoline components (hexane, benzene, toluene, p-xylene, naphthalene, anthracene, and p-terphenyl), and solutions of these gasoline components in hexane. Characteristic bands λ of gasoline component emitters are recorded in the sonoluminescence spectra of a moving bubble for water samples contaminated with additives of commercial gasoline: 290 (p-xylene), 340 (p-terphenyl), 381, 399, 424, 449 (anthracene), and 438, 474, 516, 564 nm (C, a hydrocarbon decomposition product during sonolysis).

The most important area of modern pharmacology is the targeted delivery of drugs, and one of the most promising classes of chemical compounds for creating drugs of this kind are the photochromic spiropyrans, capable of light-controlled biological activity. This work is devoted to the synthesis and study of the photochromic properties of new triphenylphosphonium salts of spiropyrans. It was found that all the synthesized cationic spiropyrans have high photosensitivity, increased resistance to photodegradation and the ability for photoluminescence.

The sonotriboluminescence of suspensions of terbium(III) and europium(III) sulfates in decane without and in the presence of benzene, toluene and -xylene was studied. The choice of crystals of these lanthanides is due to the fact that they have intense luminescence during mechanical action, and also do not dissolve in hydrocarbon solvents. During ultrasonic exposure to suspensions in pure alkanes, bands of Ln ions and N in the UV region are recorded in the luminescence spectrum.

Among the numerous described cases of hybridization in mammals, the most intriguing are (a) cases of introgressive hybridization deeply affecting the evolutionary history of species, and (b) models involving not a pair of species but a multi-species complex. Therefore, the hybridization history of the russet ground squirrel , whose range has repeatedly changed due to climatic fluctuations and now borders the ranges of four related species, is of great interest. The main aims of this study were to determine the direction and intensity of gene introgression, the spatial depth of the infiltration of extraneous genes into the range, and to refine the hypothesis of the hybridogenic replacement of mitochondrial genomes in the studied group.

The spectral-luminescent properties of a suspension of terbium sulfate in commercial gasoline under sonication are studied. The following emitters are identified from the luminescence spectrum: *Tb ions in crystals, electronically excited molecules of arenes (benzene, toluene, and xylenes), and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the liquid phase of the suspension. The study of sonotriboluminescence in gasoline-heptane and heptane-xylene-PAH synthetic mixtures shows for the first time that there is an effective luminescence activator in gasoline, that is, terphenyl molecules.
