The article presents the results of a study of risk factors (FR) for the development of thromboembolic and hemorrhagic complications, the features of antithrombotic therapy (ATT) in patients of older age groups with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (AF) according to the hospital register of patients with AF of the clinic of the Medical Research Institute problems of the North (RIMPS). A detailed analysis of individual risk factors in patients on the CHA2DS2-VASc and HAS-BLED scales was performed. The leading risk factor for thromboembolic complications (in frequency) was arterial hypertension (AH), which occurred in 76,1% of all examined patients with AF, while in elderly and senile patients, the incidence of AH was higher compared with middle-aged patients.
