Could DTI Unlock the Mystery of Subjective Tinnitus: It's Time for Parameters That Go A Little Out of the Routine.

In this study, it was aimed to assess the microstructural changes in the main central auditory pathway in cases with subjective tinnitus. In total, 101 subjects (52 cases with bilateral subjective non-pulsatile tinnitus and 49 healthy cases as the control group) were included in the study. Participants underwent pure tone audiogram and Diffusion Tensor Imaging-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (DTI-MRI) examination with a 3 Tesla MRI device.

An unusual clinical presentation of nontraumatic myositis ossificans: Leg length discrepancy.

Functional leg length discrepancy results from soft tissue tightness or weakness across any joint in the lower extremity or spine. Herein, we present a 23-year-old female patient with leg length discrepancy due to a nontraumatic myositis ossificans (MO). Interpretation of the imaging findings is quite decisive in diagnosing soft tissue pathologies.

Objectives: The natural history of chronic HBV infection (CHB) is generally divided into four phases: HBeAg-positive chronic HBV infection (EPCI) and -hepatitis (EPCH), HBeAg-negative chronic HBV infection (ENCI) and -hepatitis (ENCH). This study aimed to investigate changes in serum quantitative surface antigen (qHBsAg), systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) and systemic inflammatory response index (SIRI) in a large number of CHB patients.

Method: Three hundred seventy-two CHB patients who underwent liver biopsy between January 2015 and February 2020 were evaluated.

Rumination Mediates the Relationship Between Childhood Traumas with Cognitive Defusion, Acceptance, and Emotion Regulation: A Qualitative and Quantitative Study.

This study examines the intermediary role of rumination in the relationship between childhood traumas in young adults and cognitive defusion, psychological acceptance, and suppression which is one of the emotion regulation strategies. In the quantitative stage of the study formed according to the explanatory sequential design, the intermediary role of rumination by using a structural equation model while in the qualitative stage, the intermediary role of rumination was analyzed through interviews using the interpretive phenomenology design. Personal Information Form, Childhood Trauma Scale, Short Form Ruminative Response Scale, Acceptance and Action Form II, Drexel Defusion Scale, and Emotion Regulation Scale were used in the research.

The experience of Veterans with disabilities: A grounded theory study on coping with trauma and adapting to a new life.

Research and knowledge related to psychosocial processes experienced by Turkish Veterans with disabilities and the factors that facilitate adapting to life with a disability are insufficient. This study aims to explore the psychosocial processes and coping resources experienced by Turkish Veterans with disabilities. A grounded theory design was used in the study.
