Symptoms of the new coronavirus infection that appeared in 2019 (COVID-19) range from low fever and fatigue to acute pneumonia and multiple organ failure. The clinical picture of COVID-19 is heterogeneous and involves most physiological systems; therefore, drugs with a wide spectrum of mechanism of action are required. The choice of the treatment strategy for post-COVID-19 syndrome is still a challenge to be resolved.

Exosomal and non-exosomal miRNA expression levels in patients with HCV-related cirrhosis and liver cancer.

Patients with HCV-related cirrhosis are at risk for liver cancer development. For these patients miRNAs may serve as preclinical markers, which expression levels are deregulated in cancer and which are stable to the damaging factors partly through complex formation with proteins or packaging into exosomes. In this research we have tried to identify what miRNA fraction in plasma - exosomal or not packed into exosomes (non-exosomal) - is stronger associated with primary liver cancer.

Striking up with the in crowd: When option markets and insiders agree.

We study whether the trading behavior of corporate insiders provides additional information to the market, after controlling for the public information integrated by sophisticated investors. First, we establish that insiders and option market participants trade in the same direction on average. Second, we show that insidertrading is relatively more informed when the option market sentiment is positive.

[Dynamics of viral hepatitis A morbidity in Minsk].

The results of the analysis of hepatitis A morbidity during the period of 1996 - 2001, are presented. The cyclic character of this morbidity in its dynamics over the period of several years was noted with the maximum morbidity level reached in 2000. The monthly dynamics of hepatitis A morbidity reflected its seasonal character with the maximum increase in autumn and winter.
