We calculated 219 topological, electronic, and steric indices for each of 59 studied embryotoxic benzylalkylamines and indolamines. Statistically significant equations correlating embryotoxicity and five calculated parameters were obtained using the method of step multiple regression. The prognostic power of the equation was 88-90%.

A significant variability of the pharmacokinetic parameters in different patients was revealed. According to the results of the cluster-analysis, the main types (classes) of nifedipine pharmacokinetics were established and the possibility of regarding the patient examined as having this or that type during the measurement of the blood nifedipine concentration 2, 3 and 4 hours after administration of the drug was shown.
