The effect of atropine on the pancreatic gland's secretion in conditions of partial or complete abduction of the gland's juice from the duodenum, was studied in dogs. Atropine inhibited the secretion if the latter was stimulated with hydrolysin (endogenous peptides) and exerted no such effect in stimulation of the secretion with exogenous peptides. Atropine inhibited the secretion in abduction of the secret from the duodenum.
