[The syndrome of psycho-sensory-anatomical-functional auto-desadaptation in patients with malignant tumors of the maxillofacial region].

Objective: The aim of the study is to evaluate the syndrome of PSAF-autoadaptation in patients with tumors of maxillofacial localization based on the analysis of the results of a survey of the patient's Voluntary Confidential Information Sheet (DDIV Sheet).

Material And Methods: The object of the study was 110 patients (39 men and 71 women (average age 58 years) with malignant neoplasms of the skin, tongue, bottom of the oral cavity, parotid salivary gland, upper jaw, submandibular salivary gland (stage II-IV of the disease). Rapid diagnostics of psycho-sensory-anatomical-functional-autoadaptation (PSAF) was performed by analyzing self-filled patient lists of DDIV with its self-assessment of the main complaints.

In Vivo Studies of Medical Implants for Maxillofacial Surgery Produced from Nanostructured Titanium.

This paper presents the results of comprehensive in vivo studies into the osseointegration behavior of medical implants for maxillofacial surgery produced from nanostructured grade 4 titanium. Special attention is given to the phenomenology of bone tissue formation with consideration of its surface relief features and to evaluating the quantitative parameters of the morphological indicators of osteoblast and endothelial cells in the osseointegration zone. These parameters were compared with their measurement data for standard factory-made implants, and considerable acceleration in the fixation of nanotitanium implants due to osseointegation was found.

[Kimura's disease. (Clinical case study)].

The author presents his own observation of a patient with Kimura's disease (CD), which is a rather rare chronic inflammatory disease of soft tissues. The results of clinical examination and surgical treatment of this disease are presented. It is emphasized that for the diagnosis of CD, first of all, an excision biopsy of the lesion is necessary, as well as the presence of eosinophilia in the patient, an increased level of immunoglobulin E (IgE) in peripheral blood, an increase in regional lymph nodes.

[A comparative evaluation of the immune status of patients with squamous-cell cancer of the oral mucosa at different stages of combined treatment].

Shifts in immunity values were detected in 160 patients with oral cancer before specific therapy and at all stages of multiple-modality treatment. High diagnostic significance of measuring concentrations of circulating immune complexes in the serum for prediction of tumor relapse or metastases is demonstrated.
