Objective: To analyze the dynamics of symptoms in patients with COVID-19 associated sino-orbital mucormycosis.

Material And Methods: We describe a series of 13 patients with COVID-19 associated sino-orbital mucormycosis aged 43 to 80 years diagnosed from August to October 2021. All of the patients had a severe disease and required noninvasive ventilation or intubation and administration of dexamethasone.

We describe a case of postcovid sino-orbital mucormycosis in a 74-year-old patient with diabetes mellitus. Orbital symptoms appeared after discharge from the covid hospital, in the third week of the disease and were represrnted by ptosis, proptosis, ophthalmoplegia, blindness and pain in the right eye, numbness of the right half of the face, edema of the periorbital region and cheek. The diagnosis of mucormycosis was confirmed by fluorescence microscopy of the discharge from the middle nasal meatus.
