Doxorubicin (DOX) is a prevalent anticancer agent; however, it is unfortunately characterized by high cardiotoxicity, myelosuppression, and multiple other side effects. To overcome DOX limitations, two novel pyridoxine-derived doxorubicin derivatives were synthesized (DOX-1 and DOX-2).
