Nucleic acid-polymer conjugates are an attractive class of materials endowed with tunable and responsive character. Herein, we exploit the dynamic character of nucleic acids in the preparation of hybrid DNA-covalent polymers with extendable grafts by the hybridization chain reaction. Addition of DNA hairpins to an initiator DNA-dextran graft copolymer resulted in the growth of the DNA grafts as evidenced by various characterization techniques over several length scales.

To prevent such complications it is necessary to prescribe heparin in minimal doses or fraxiparine preoperatively and intraoperatively. It permits to lower the prethrombotic background significantly, to prevent thrombohemorrhagic complications, and in their incidence--to eliminate thrombotic and hemorrhagic clinical features with minimal losses.

A total of 56 Sakhalin taimen (Parahucho perryi) samples from the Daga, Nabil, Poronai, and Agnevo rivers (Sakhalin Island) were examined at 36 microsatellite loci, most ofwhich were described for other species and first tested in taimen. Among the 21 loci first tested in taimen, two loci produced no amplification products.
