Objectives: The goal was to characterize the role of SWs in a multidisciplinary DBS presurgical evaluation team and to construct a screening tool to identify patients who could benefit from a preoperative SW consultation.

Unique Application of the Jaw-in-a-Day Technique in a Case of Trauma.

Mandibular reconstruction with a fibula free flap is often used for advanced oral malignancies, osteonecrosis, or benign tumors to restore function and appearance after segmental mandibulectomy. The "Jaw in a Day" (JIAD) technique enables immediate restoration of form and function with a fibula free flap, implants, and a temporary prosthesis. This case reports the unique use of the JIAD technique in a young female patient with a traumatic mandibular nonunion fracture and chronic osteomyelitis, demonstrating its efficacy in significantly enhancing her quality of life.

Change targets, messaging, and content delivery for a community-engaged social media campaign addressing HIV-related stigma in Peru: a qualitative study.

Mitigating HIV-related stigma is critical to improving HIV outcomes and reaching global HIV targets. We conducted formative community-engaged research to identify key characteristics of a social media campaign to address HIV-related stigma among youth in Lima, Peru. Focus groups and in-depth interviews with young people living with HIV (men who have sex with men, transgender women, sex workers, persons with perinatally-acquired HIV, cisgender women, and Venezuelan migrants), HIV advocates, and healthcare providers were carried out from November 2022 to July 2023.
