Brachytherapy is a key treatment for gynaecological malignancies, delivering high doses to the tumour volume whilst sparing nearby normal tissues due to its steep dose gradient. Accuracy is imperative as small shifts can lead to clinically significant under- or over-dosing of the target volume or organs at risk (OARs), respectively. Independent verification of dose delivered during brachytherapy is not routinely performed but it is important to identify gross errors and define action thresholds to guide inter-fraction treatment decisions.

Differences in mobile phone operators' geographic coverage, however, may result in biased mobility estimates.
Methods: We leverage a unique dataset consisting of CDRs from three mobile phone operators in Bangladesh and digital trace data from Meta's Data for Good program to compare mobility patterns across these sources.
We assessed the performance of large language models' summarizing clinical dialogues using computational metrics and human evaluations. The comparison was done between automatically generated and human-produced summaries. We conducted an exploratory evaluation of five language models: one general summarisation model, one fine-tuned for general dialogues, two fine-tuned with anonymized clinical dialogues, and one Large Language Model (ChatGPT).

To facilitate a systematic investigation of these sequence-ensemble relationships, we selected a set of 16 naturally occurring intrinsically disordered regions of identical length but with large differences in amino acid composition, hydrophobicity, and charge patterning. We probed their conformational ensembles with single-molecule Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET), complemented by circular dichroism (CD) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy as well as small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS).
