Objectives: Asthma is a complex inflammatory disorder with the infiltration of inflammatory cells in the lung airways. Saffron's active component, crocin, has been proven to possess anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant effects. The objective of this current study was to explore the impact of crocin on NF-kB and nuclear erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2)/ heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) signaling pathways in ovalbumin (OVA)-sensitized mice, aiming to understand its mechanism.

Evaluation of the Bone Formation Potential of Collagen/ß-TCP/Ginger Extract Scaffold Loaded with Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Rat Animal model: A Stereological Study.

Unlabelled: Tissue engineering offers a new horizon for restoring the function of damaged tissues and organs. Here, bone regeneration potential of three-dimensional (3D) scaffold made of collagen/beta-tricalcium phosphate/ginger hydroalcoholic extract (COL-ß-TCP-GIN) loaded with stem cells was evaluated. The scaffolds with different component ratios were fabricated using a freeze dryer to obtain the optimum composition.

Audit and quality assessment of national persian registry of cardiovascular disease(N-PROVE) in terms of comorbidities, angiography, and angioplasty characteristics in Iran.

Background: The National Persian Registry of Cardiovascular Disease (N-PROVE) has been established to provide a comprehensive database of cardiovascular diseases in the Iranian community for further investigations and to develop national guidelines for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD). As with most clinical registries, a quality control audit is necessary to ensure a comprehensive and accurate registry; the current study aims to assess the validity and quality of the N-PROVE/Angiography/Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) registry.

Methods: The current cross-sectional quality assessment study serves as an example of data quality assessment in N-PROVE on a sample of patients registered in the N-PROVE/Angiography/PCI registry since 2020.

Biology of HLA class I associated inflammatory diseases.

Human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I association is a well-established feature of common and uncommon inflammatory diseases, but it is unknown whether it impacts the pathogenesis of these disorders. The "arthritogenic peptide" hypothesis proposed initially for HLA-B27-associated ankylosing spondylitis (AS) seems the most intuitive to serve as a model for other HLA class I-associated diseases, but evidence supporting it has been scarce. Recent technological advances and the discovery of epistatic relationships between disease-associated HLA class I and endoplasmic reticulum aminopeptidase (ERAP) coding variants have led to the generation of new data and conceptual approaches to the problem requiring its re-examination.

A Single-Subject Study to Consider the Premature Infant Oral Motor Intervention Combined with Kinesio-Tape in Premature Infants with Feeding Problems.

Background: The survival rate in premature infants (PIs) has increased, but many have medical and developmental complications. Difficulty with sucking, swallowing, and poor nourishment are common complications. This study aimed to investigate the effects of Kinesio-tape (KT) combined with premature infant oromotor intervention (PIOMI) on feeding efficiency (mean volume intake [%MV]), oromotor skills (Preterm Oral Feeding Readiness Assessment Scale [POFRAS]), and weight gain in PIs.
