Unlabelled: Congenital pectus excavatum (PE) takes the first place among the deformation of the chest, accompanied by violations of the cardiorespiratory system and various cosmetic defects. A radical way to eliminate the deformation of the chest is surgical correction-thoracoplasty.
Material And Methods: This study was performed on the results of surgical treatment of 183 patients with various forms of PE at the age of 3 to 18 years.
Background: The objective of this study is to examine the association between special tests for subscapularis tears and both pain and tear severity.
Methods: Nine hundred and two patients (145 with isolated lesions and 757 with combined lesions) diagnosed with arthroscopically confirmed subscapularis tears between 2010 and 2022. Subscapularis tear severity was classified according to Lafosse classification type I, II, III and IV.
Objective: To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of bilateral internal mammary artery grafting over long-term (15 years) postoperative period.
Material And Methods: There were 276 patients divided into two groups: 135 patients (group A) underwent bilateral internal mammary artery grafting and 141 patients (group B) underwent unilateral internal mammary artery grafting together with venous bypass grafts. On-pump surgeries and cardioplegia, parallel CPB and on-pump procedures were performed in equal proportions.
