Common Designs of Custom-Made Fenestrated Arch Devices and Applicability of an Off-the-Shelf Design.

Objectives: To analyze device designs, similarities and overlaps of custom-made fenestrated arch endografts intended for mid/distal arch thoracic endovascular aortic repair.

Materials And Methods: A multicenter cross-sectional study analyzing custom-made anonymized graft plans was performed. Graft plans were included from a cohort of mid/distal aortic arch repairs using custom-made fenestrated aortic endografts treated at 8 centers.

[Infectious mononucleosis in practice of otorhinolaryngologist].

Infectious mononucleosis (IM) is an acute viral infection that usually occurs with fever, acute tonsillitis, affects lymph nodes, liver, spleen, and with specific changes in the hemogram. One of the most frequent symptoms of the disease is sore throat which leads people to otorhinolaryngologist. Several pathogens may be the cause of IM, but Epstein-Barr virus(EBV) plays a key role.

Importance of accurately locating the entry site for endovascular treatment of retrograde Type A acute aortic dissection.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic possibilities of accurately locating the entry site in acute retrograde Type A aortic dissection and the results of the corresponding endovascular treatments.

Methods: Among 100 patients who underwent surgery for the treatment of spontaneous acute Type A aortic dissection between 2012 and June 2017, all but 1 patient had preoperative computed tomographic angiography. A total of 8 retrograde extensions originated from the descending aorta, in which 6 of them were diagnosed correctly using radiological imaging.

[Hormonal and metabolic effects of drinking mineral water and phytoaeronisation in experimental prostatitis].

Prostatitis modelled in 53 Wistar male rats (300-350 body mass) 7 days after its induction was treated with mineral water "Essentuki N 17" (MW) which was taken in a dose 1.5-2 ml per 100 g body mass for 23-24 days. In addition, some animals received phytoaeroionisation (PAI) with solution of essential oils of mint, sage and lavender.

[Immune shifts and their correction in the extremely severe course of diffuse suppurative peritonitis in children].

Clinical and immunological studies of 65 patients with extremely severe disseminated suppurative peritonitis have revealed profound disturbances in their immune status. A considerable (2.5-3-fold) decrease in phagocytosis and complement activity, a drastic drop in T-, B-lymphocyte and T-helper content and a depression in T-lymphocyte functional activity have been observed.
