Medical imaging provides a comprehensive perspective and rich information for disease diagnosis. Combined with artificial intelligence technology, medical imaging can be further mined for detailed pathological information. Many studies have shown that the macroscopic imaging characteristics of tumors are closely related to microscopic gene, protein and molecular changes.

All the herbal residues improved the anaerobic fermentation quality in different degrees, indicated by lower pH, NH-N and butyric acid concentrations. However, the contents of lactic and acetic acids varied widely in silage with different herbal residues.

Background And Objective: Adjuvant chemotherapy is recommended as standard treatment for colorectal cancer (CRC) with stage III according to TNM stage. However, outcomes are varied even among patients receiving similar treatments. We aimed to develop a prognostic signature to stratify outcomes and benefit from different chemotherapy regimens by analyzing whole slide images (WSI) using deep learning.

In particular, there is no sRNA confirmed experimentally to regulate the late stages of sporulation. Bvs196 is an sRNA with a length of 294 nucleotides that is abundantly expressed in the stationary phase of several media and independently transcribed in strain PEBA20, as validated by RNA-seq and Northern blot,.

Here, we unveil the atomic-scale friction of a single tungsten asperity in real time through a high-resolution transmission electron microscopy investigation of a nanocontact in countermotion, induced through a piezo actuator. Molecular dynamics simulations provide insights into the sliding pathway of interface atoms and the dynamic strain/stress evolution at the interface.

However, the reasonable choice of process parameters for FDM is a significant task that directly affects the performance of the printed part. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the influences of various process parameters on the quality characteristics of the components.

With the rising of tools such as artificial intelligence, using physiological data to explore new possible physiological indicators of mental disorder and creating new applications for mental disorder diagnosis has become a new research hot topic. We present a multi-modal open dataset for mental-disorder analysis.

It has been reported that capsaicin exerts many pharmacological effects including liver and cardiac fibrosis. However, whether capsaicin plays a therapeutic role in renal fibrosis remains unclear.

It is, therefore, necessary to construct a complete avian genome and analyze its evolution. We constructed a chicken pan-genome from 20 de novo assembled genomes with high sequencing depth, and identified 1,335 protein-coding genes and 3,011 long noncoding RNAs not found in GRCg6a.

The proposed interpolation bounce-back (IBB)-explicit counter-extrapolation (ECE) scheme adopts the IBB method to describe the curved boundary, while the ECE method is employed to predict the slip velocity on gas-solid interface. To incorporate the effect of second-order velocity slip term and the influence of boundary curvature, a slip velocity model is also derived, from which the gas slip velocity is captured by the ECE discretization method.

We developed a dual resolution deep learning network with self-attention mechanism (DRSANet) which combines context and details for CRC binary classification and localisation in whole slide images (WSIs), and as a computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) to improve the sensitivity and specificity of doctors' diagnosis.
Methods: Representative regions of interest (ROI) of each tissue type were manually delineated in WSIs by pathologists.

To meet the packaging requirements of sapphire in special electronic components, there is an urgent need for a joining process that can realize a good connection between sapphire and dissimilar metals at a low temperature. In this work, the surface of a sapphire substrate was successfully catalytically activated and metallized by an electroless nickel plating process. Moreover, the solderability and interconnection of metallized sapphire with Sn-based solders were evaluated and investigated at 250 °C, and the wetting angle of the Sn-based solders on sapphire on sapphire without and with metallization was 125° and 51°, respectively.

Introduction: Postoperative infection is still one of the most common complications following flexible ureteroscopy lithotripsy (FURL). However, whether a combination of negative pressure ureteroscopy (and Soton ureteroscopy) is superior to FURL in lithotripsy with regard to intraoperative pressure and possibly the incidence of postoperative infection remains to be validated.
Aim: To explore the effect of a Soton ureteroscope on infection following flexible ureteroscope lithotripsy.
Background: For patients with meningioma, surgical procedures are different because of the status of sinus invasion. However, there is still no suitable technique to identify the status of sinus invasion in patients with meningiomas. We aimed to build a deep learning radiomics model to identify sinus invasion before surgery.

Our previous study demonstrated that following acute exposure to MPs, the serum testosterone content reduced and sperm quality declined, resulting in male reproductive dysfunction in mice. However, the toxic effect of long-term exposure to MPs at environmental exposure levels on the reproductive system of mammals remains unclear.

Recently, immunotherapy targeting tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) has emerged as a critical and promising treatment in several types of cancer. However, not all cancer types have been tested in immunotherapeutic trials, and different patients and cancer types may have unpredictable clinical outcomes. This situation has created a particular exigency for analyzing the prognostic significance of tumor-infiltrating T cells (TIL-T) and B cells (TIL-B) across different cancer types.

However, the potential role of Tph cells in Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV) remains unclear. Here, we explored the potential clinical significance of circulating Tph cells in the pathogenesis of AAV.

Here, by combining spin-polarised scanning tunnelling microscopy and first-principles calculations, we investigate the magnetism of vdW ML CrTe, which has been successfully grown through molecular-beam epitaxy.
