The study aimed to analyze the demographic patterns and causes of proptosis in patients.
A total of 60 patients were evaluated at Khyber Institute of Ophthalmic Medical Sciences, with a majority being males, and divided into pediatric and adult age groups.
The findings revealed that neoplasms were the leading cause of proptosis (33%), followed by orbital inflammations and infections; timely medical intervention was emphasized to reduce visual impairments.
