The widespread use of antibiotics has led to significant water pollution. Photocatalysis can effectively degrade antibiotics, but the performance is greatly limited by the photogenerated carrier recombination in the photocatalytic material g-CN. Constructing heterojunctions can enhance interfacial charge transfer, leading to more stable and efficient photocatalysis.

Follicular fluid extracellular vesicles are beneficial for in vitro oocyte maturation and development; however, their effect on the expression profiles of oocyte microRNAs (miRNAs) and the roles of related miRNAs are unknown. In this study, we aimed to investigate miRNA expression in mature oocytes cultured in follicular fluid extracellular vesicles and the effect of miRNA-125a (miR-125a) on oocyte maturation. The expression profiles of the miRNAs were determined by microRNA sequencing, followed by target gene prediction analysis.

Currently mechanical recycling typically leads to downcycling, while the environmental footprint of chemical recycling is often unacceptable. Here, we introduce a dual circularity concept, where rational molecular design paves the way for complementary closed-loop mechanical and chemical recyclability under mild conditions.

Recent studies demonstrated that glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RA) have promising prospects in promoting wound healing. In this study, we intend to investigate the pro-healing effect and potential molecular mechanism of topical administration of GLP-1RA liraglutide on wounds in normoglycemic mice. Two full-thickness wounds were created on the back of the C57BL/6 mice.

However, the underlying mechanisms through which it exerts its antiviral effects remain poorly understood.
Aim Of The Study: This study aimed to investigate the potential mechanisms by which JWEMGs modulate vaginal microecology and clear HPV infections, utilizing clinical trials, metagenomic sequencing, and in vitro models.
Sepsis-induced thrombocytopenia (SIT) is a widely accepted predictor of poor prognosis during sepsis, while the mechanism of SIT remains elusive. In this study, we revealed that SIT patients and septic mice exhibited higher levels of pro-inflammatory macrophages and phosphorylated Bruton's tyrosine kinase (p-BTK) expression in macrophages, which were closely correlated with platelet counts. Treatment with the BTK inhibitor BGB-3111 in SIT mice resulted in enhanced production of megakaryocytes and platelets.

Results: In this study, we developed a novel vaccine platform called Listeria-based Live Attenuated Double Substitution (LADS), which involves introducing two amino acid substitutions (N478AV479A) into the virulence factor listeriolysin O (LLO). LADS is a safe vaccine platform, with an attenuation of nearly 7000-fold, while retaining complete immunogenicity due to the absence of deletion of any virulence factors.

Long-term use of glucocorticoids, such as dexamethasone, can lead to skeletal muscle atrophy and disturbances in glucolipid metabolism. Astaxanthin, a ketocarotenoid, has a variety of physiological activities. In this study, we investigated the effects of astaxanthin on dexamethasone-induced skeletal muscle atrophy and disorders of glycolipid metabolism.

Background: Postoperative infections remain a significant source of morbidity among patients undergoing colorectal cancer (CRC) surgery. While probiotics have been proposed as a potential strategy to mitigate the risk of these infections, contemporary meta-analyses have produced conflicting findings.
Aim: To synthesize the available evidence regarding the prophylactic efficacy of probiotics in preventing infections following CRC surgery.
Statement Of Problem: Adhesives play an essential role in restorative dentistry, and Universal Bond Quick (UBQ) has been marketed as having a short application time and long-term resistance to hydrolysis. However, research on its biocompatibility is lacking.
Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study was to compare the biocompatibility of 3 recently introduced universal dental adhesives: UBQ, Single Bond Universal (SBU), and Prime&Bond Universal (PBU), and the popular clinical dental adhesive SE Bond.
Systemic acquired resistance (SAR) is activated by local infection and confers enhanced resistance against subsequent pathogen invasion. Salicylic acid (SA) and N-hydroxypipecolic acid (NHP) are two key signaling molecules in SAR and their levels accumulate during SAR activation. Two members of plant-specific Calmodulin-Binding Protein 60 (CBP60) transcription factor family, CBP60g and SARD1, regulate the expression of biosynthetic genes of SA and NHP.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of lebrikizumab in the treatment of moderate-to-severe AD through a meta-analysis.
Methods: PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, Medline, and ClinicalTrials.
Background: High altitude cerebral edema (HACE) is a condition where the central nervous system experiences severe impairment as a result of sudden oxygen deprivation at high elevations. At present, effective measures for preventing and treating this condition are still lacking. Eleutheroside B (EB), the primary natural active compound found in the , has demonstrated various biological functions.

Traditional field surveys are often inefficient and lack comprehensive spatial coverage. Leveraging street view images (SVIs) and deep learning techniques provides a cost-effective alternative for extracting streetscape features.

The development of highly active and stable catalysts remains a critical challenge. In this study, we report the design and synthesis of cyclodextrin-modified Cu/CuO electrocatalysts, which exhibit remarkable efficiency in driving the CO electroreduction process towards C products.

However, approximately 50 % of lakes undergo periodic freezing, and there is limited research on the factors influencing the CO cycle and ice formation in freshwater lakes located in middle- and high-latitude plateaus during ice-covered periods. Using high-frequency meteorological-flux data collected over six consecutive months during the 2018-2019 freezing period of Lake Wuliangsuhai, this study explored the diurnal variation, daily accumulation, and monthly accumulation of the CO cycle and its influencing mechanisms at a half-hour scale.
