High-precision, low-power MEMS accelerometers are extensively utilized across civilian applications. Closed-loop accelerometers employing switched-capacitor (SC) circuit topologies offer notable advantages, including low power consumption, high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and excellent linearity. Addressing the critical demand for high-precision, low-power MEMS accelerometers in modern geophones, this work focuses on the design and implementation of closed-loop interface ASICs (Application-Specific Integrated Circuits).

Here, we show that a single pair of lysin-motif-containing receptor-like kinases, MpaLYR and MpaCERK1, mediates both immunity and symbiosis in the liverwort Marchantia paleacea. MpaLYR has a higher affinity for long-chain (CO7) versus short-chain chitin oligomers (CO4).

Objective: To examine the relationship between retinal vascular geometry and silent brain infarction (SBI) in the Chinese population.
Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study that retrospectively analyzed the fundus photographs, MRI and other clinical data of 227 SBIs and 227 controls who visited Shanghai Health And Medical Center for physical examination. Physical, chemical, and dual modifications can all significantly affect the digestibility of isolated rice granules, while their effects on the starch digestibility of whole cooked rice grains remain elusive. Therefore, the impact of malic acid, ultrasound, and ultrasound + malic acid dual treatment on the starch digestibility of cooked rice grains with different starch molecular structures was investigated in this study. Ultrasound mainly caused cavitation on the surface of rice grains, promoting the leaching of materials (> 11 %) and amylose during cooking.

Here, we have achieved a novel apatite-type structure CaLa(PO)O (CLPO) containing Eu and Tb ions. The CLPO:Eu is capable of being effectively excited by near-ultraviolet light and emits blue light at about 460 nm.

Herein, we develop a thermometer based on the fluorescence intensity ratio (FIR) of Sb-doped CsNaInCl (CsNaInCl:Sb). As the temperature increases from 203 to 323 K, the thermally induced transition from triplet to singlet self-trapped excitons (STEs) leads to enhanced 455 nm photoluminescence (PL) from singlet STE recombination.

Programmed cell death is a type of autonomic and orderly cell death mode controlled by genes that maintain homeostasis and growth. Tumor is a typical manifestation of an imbalance in environmental homeostasis in the human body. Currently, several tumor treatments are designed to trigger the death of tumor cells.

Compared to polysaccharides, oligosaccharides are more easily utilized by the body, and the physiological function of hawthorn pectin oligosaccharides (POS) may vary depending on their degree of polymerization (DP). Therefore, we mainly studied the effects of hawthorn pectin (HP) and POS with different DP on gut microbiota disorders induced by high-fat diet (HFD).

Glioma, the deadly primary intracranial tumor, poses challenges in clinical treatment due to its infiltrative growth and resistance to radiation. Oncolytic virus therapy holds potential for the treatment of malignant gliomas, but its application is impeded by the requirement for intracranial injections due to the presence of blood-brain barrier (BBB). In this study, to overcome this limitation, the study develops a nanocapsule encapsulating the recombinant oncolytic virus EV-A71-miR124T, enabling the treatment of glioma through intravenous administration.

Lysine lactylation (Kla) derived from lactate is a novel type of post-translational modification which has been confirmed to affect the malignant progression of diseases as an epigenetic modifier. However, the systemic lactylome profiling of preeclampsia is still unclear.

Using a chemical similarity-based approach, it is difficult to identify minor structural differences that contribute to the significant changes of toxicity. Here, we used omics and computational toxicology to identify chemical features associated with BP analogue-induced embryonic toxicity, offering valuable insights to inform the design of safer chemical alternatives.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have revolutionized the treatment of systemic cancer therapy. During disinhibiting the antitumor responses of immune system, ICIs may also cause unique immune-related adverse events (irAEs) which could affect any organ. Here, we report a rare case of sintilimab-induced ureteritis/cystitis in a 55-year-old male undergoing neoadjuvant chemo-immunotherapy for gastric cancer.

In apple (Malus domestica), the abscisic acid (ABA)-responsive factor ABA INSENSITIVE5 directly activates MORE AXILLARY GROWTH2 (MdMAX2), an important strigolactone signaling component; an abscisic acid-restricted E3 ubiquitin ligase modulates MdMAX2 turnover, thus linking strigolactone and abscisic acid signaling.

Materials And Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 48 children with VUR who underwent unilateral or bilateral RALUR-EV between June 2018 and December 2022. Patients were divided into two groups: Group A (25 infants under one year) and Group B (23 children over one year).
To address the problems of the labeling curved surfaces vegetable with long label, such as the label wrinkled and the easy detachment, a cam-elliptical gear combined labeling mechanism with an improved hypocycloid trajectory is proposed. Provide the process of the mechanism, and establish a kinematic model of the mechanism. In order to improve the motion performances of the cam-elliptical gear combined labeling mechanism and avoid labels damage, the NSGA-II algorithm is used to optimize the parameters of the mechanism, resulting in 80 sets of Pareto solutions.

Hypertension is the predominant cause of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) globally, and essential hypertension (EH) represents a significant public health challenge due to its multifactorial etiology involving complex interactions between genetic and environmental factors. However, the pathogenesis of EH is still unclear. Hypertension is a dysregulation in the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system and sympathetic nervous system, both regulating saline homeostasis and cardiovascular function.
