Background: Myofascial pain characterized by myofascial trigger point (MTrP) is a common cause of musculoskeletal pain and the main cause of neck and shoulder pain in the working population. Thread embedding acupuncture (TEA) is a new modality that can provide long-term stimulation to prolong the same therapeutic effect as conventional acupuncture. This study aimed to determine the effect of TEA therapy on pain score, neck disability index (NDI), and pressure pain threshold (PPT) for myofascial pain in the upper trapezius muscle.

Strong climate mitigation potential of rewetting oil palm plantations on tropical peatlands.

For decades, tropical peatlands in Indonesia have been deforested and converted to other land uses, mainly oil palm plantations which now cover one-fourth of the degraded peatland area. Given that the capacity for peatland ecosystems to store carbon depends largely on hydrology, there is a growing interest in rewetting degraded peatlands to shift them back to a carbon sink. Recent estimates suggest that peatland rewetting may contribute up to 13 % of Indonesia's total mitigation potential from natural climate solutions.

MATERIAL AND METHODS A total of 129 low-risk and high-risk GTN patients who had received first-line chemotherapy were enrolled in this historical cohort study.

Background: The incidence of vulvar cancer (VC) in pregnancy is unknown due to its rarity; between 1955 and 2014 only 36 case reports were reported worldwide. Burn is a common case in developing countries, with over half of fire-related deaths reported in Southeast Asia and full-thickness burns as a high mortality risk. Human amnion has been used as a wound dressing for centuries. In this study, a decellularised amnion overlaid with fibrin, "amnion bilayer (AB)," was used as a dressing immediately after burn and as a graft to replace the scar in Sprague-Dawley rats subjected to full-thickness burn model.

If GTD persists after initial treatment and has persistent elevated beta human chorionic gonadotropin (ß-hCG), it is referred to as post-molar gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (pGTN). To date, there is no detailed information regarding how fast invasive moles can develop from CHM.

Background: Since the introduction of sentinel node biopsy (SLNB) in unifocal vulvar cancer (diameter of < 4 cm) and unsuspicious groin lymph nodes, the morbidity rate of patients has significantly decreased globally. In contrast to SLNB, bilateral inguinofemoral lymphadenectomy (IFL) has been associated with increased risk of common morbidities. Current guidelines (NCCN, ESGO, RCOG, and German) recommend that in cases of unilaterally positive sentinel lymph node (SLN), bilateral IFL should be performed.
